This is a tour to the Southern part of Ethiopia
In the late morning pick up at your Hotel. and transfer to the airport to Fly Arba Minch. Meet the driver in the airport and transfer to hotel. After some short rest drive back to Dorze Village. to visit Dorze people. Among their very interesting cultures are their houses built from bamboo way of life and cultivation of the false banana (from which they extract their local bread, called Kotcho).
Take a boat trip on Lake Chamo where visit the Giant Nile crocodiles take a sunbath on the shores. Hippo’s hide themselves under the water and you will see also colonies of pelicans. After boat trip drive to Turmi. on the way visit the Stone Walled compound and village of Konso tribe. Konso tribe is known for their unique social life structure and practicing the agriculture terracing and registered by UNSCO as world heritage.
Excursion to Omorate to visit the Dassanach tribes across the Omo river by wooden local boat then come back to Turmi in the afternoon visit the nearby hammer tribe village, also possibility to see special occasion ceremonies like wedding and ritual
Early Excursion to Karo village for the visit of Karo tribes with their interesting body decorations and scarification; Then drive to Jinka. in the late afternoon visit Ari Village.
Enter to the Mago National Park to visit Mursi tribes’ village. Mursi tribes are the most famous tradition includes the lip plate worn by the women. The origin of this tradition is not known but the Mursi themselves consider it as something that makes them distinguish from the surrounding tribes.
Afternoon transfer to airport and fly back to Addis. Depending up on time final shopping at souvenir shop. Evening have welfare dinner at traditional restaurant with folkloric dance then transfer to airport to fly back home.
